Hi Guyz
One for the Gas experts here,

I have a flat which we are refurbishing, and it has I think a baxi fire front and back boiler in.

The fire front is looking really dated, The boiler works very well , I was thinking of taking the fire front off, fitting a marble front with an electric fire
Just for show, Obviously leaving vents for the air to get behind & an access panel for anuual bolier inspections etc, but our corgi guy, says NO, it has to stay connected to the boiler, spoke to another one, and he said it could be done, any thoughts please ?

All work will be done by corgi registerd fitters,
Just wanted to know if its possible
best regards
Al

As far as im aware you must have a baxi fire front on it. If you want it updating, baxi will be able to provide a selection of more modern fronts that can be fitted to the existing boiler.

Alternatively, spend some of the refurb money on a boiler now and save more disuption down the line.
