Before I ask my BCO again to save sounding more of a plonker than I am, does anyone know off the top of their head what class fire rating cladding I need on the back of my mono roof? It is within 1m of next door.

Sure he said A1 or A0.

Try A1, because there is no A0.

IIRC, this cladding is behind a pitched roof, so the chances of it catching light from a neighbour's fire is low - even though it may well be within 1m of the boundary. So plastic or timber shiplap will do.

You are along my thought process Woody. The BCO asked what cladding I was fitting on the back of the mono pitch and I told him upvc. He didn’t like that and quoted the fire retardancy.

Kind of similar to noseall i think I’ll fit hardie plank. A wood look a like cement board.
