Fire Specification for green mineral felt

The flat roof on my new extension is finished with Green Mineral Felt. The officer for building control won't issue the completion certificate until I provide her with the Fire Specification for the felt. Can anyone direct me to where I can find out any information on this?

There are fire retardant mineral felts available now but you should have been specific with the roofer and asked for it.

Tut tut.

Otherwise cover the roof with limestone chippings then brush em off when he's gone.

The reg's regarding f.p. roofing material are in place to protect roofs from a neighbour (within 5m) whose home is on fire as a flattie will catch burning embers and subsequently catch fire.
