this morning the 'limit stat' light came on on my firebird combi boiler, i read the instruction manual and followed the advice of pressing the reset button all to no avail, does anyone know what has caused this and how i can fix it, we only installed the boiler 2 months ago (brand new) and it has been running fine up till this morning.

Is this the overheat stat on the back of the control panel?

Yeah its the hight limit stat according to the instructions
I guess this means that the boiler is overheating, maybe because the circulating pump has stopped running.
So, the burner lock out light wasn't on?
