I have just had a Clearview Pioneer 400 stove installed into the old fireplace in my Victorian Terrace.
The HETAS engineer that we used wasn't able to obtain the wood in time for the surround and mantle that I am after and given that this should be a simple job - I had planned to have this delivered to install myself.
It will look like this (although the photo shows a fireplace rather than stove):
I have taken some measurements and the height from the top of the stove to the header is 23cm and the distance from the side of the stoves to where the pillars would be is 18cm.
Is there anywhere in the building regulations which would allow me to see whether this complies with the minimum requirements as having reviewed am unable to work out the distances required.
