Fireplace tile cleaning

Hi all,

Above shows our fireplace from 1902 that I've stripped back to the original tile which is a lovely two tone effect.

Would it now benefit from a specialist cleaner (if so, what would you recommend?) Or am I as well using soapy water?

I'd probably opt for a more intensive cleaner.

When you say "Stripped back too", what was covering the tiles?

That was what I was leaning towards too.

Paint - at least one coat of cream, white and a horrid shade of duck egg blue!
