I've been working on getting a wood burner installed in my old Victorian tenement fireplace and it's mostly complete. Unfortunately the tiles I've bought arrived completely smashed twice so I've had to get the stove installed before finishing the tiling.
The walls of my fire recess are not the same angle. I was originally concerned about space for the stove so I didn't match the angles but now that it's in, I realise the space isn't as bad as I thought. I'm now wondering should I build out the right side to match the angles before tiling.
What's the opinion, is it better to build out or leave as is (the right side is ~1.5-2cm longer than the left due to the angles)?
Attached a picture for reference (I'm pretty much centre on looking straight at the fireplace when taking the photo)
