Just about to embark on my first ever DIY bathroom - it's a small ensuite (2.5m x 1.3m) which will have a shower, toilet, and basin on a vanity. I was planning to use Fibo boards on the walls to avoid the need to deploy my awful tiling skills and to save time.
I'm going to get started this weekend but just wanted to sanity check my rough order of proceedings - am I missing anything which is going to give me a face palm moment about half way through?
Any advice/guidance/criticism greatly appreciated
1. Rip out old bathroom back to bare plaster and floorboards
2. Floor up, adapt (if needed) the water supply feeds and install new wastes in the right locations
3. Floor back down, seat shower tray, connect waste and test
4. Seal shower tray using 'No More Leaks' or similar tape
5. Install Fibo wall boards around the room (sitting on top of shower tray rim rather than behind)
6. Install shower head and mixer
7. Install shower screen
8. Tile the remaining floor
9. Install toilet, vanity, and basin on top of tiled floor
10. Silicone sealing
11. Install lighting and fan
Thanks in advance for any tips and suggestions
