Hi, when first fixing the 4inch waste pipe for a toilet what height do yo usualy bring it out at, is it 7.5 inch?

Toilet outlets do vary, so best to decide which toilet you are going to fit and find out the dimensions. Don't forget to allow for a slight 'fall' and also any flooring which the pan will sit on. You can always fit an offset pan connector.
Yes normally 7.5 inches to centre. Check your pan first though.

7½" is an industry standard but a long time ago [pre war] it used to be 9½"
