I've currently been doing this in evenings and this is the current progress:
- Old tiles removed, both layers. (Old owners, tiled over tiles.)
- Removed old tile adhesive. (Little tip from the forum, get a decent scraper and a steamer, it comes straight off)
- Removed old plasterboard off stud wall.
- Removed bath and added caps to water pipes.
- Added new CLS joints to support the shower valve and head.
