Hi,
I'm building a small wall (two blocks high) in the garden. The foundations, despite being pegged out with a spirit level, are not quite level.
I started laying concrete blocks today, but as I go along in order to keep them level the mortar underneath is getting a little thinner.
Is there a minimum thickness of mortar that I should aim for underneat the blocks? It's not a huge issue if the first row of blocks is slightly uneven, and I use the second layer of mortar to even it out: the wall will be completely covered when it's done.
Thanks,
Mark
