Hello,

I recently removed an inbuilt cupboard in the bathroom. The lenght of the wall it was on, is now going to have bathroom panels installed. I had to install a new piece of plasterboard from floor to ceiling and about 80cm wide (which would have been the inside of the old cupboard).

I've just tried to plaster (for the very first time ever) over the new piece of plasterboard and blending in the existing wall to the new piece of plasterboard. Now that it's dry i'm starting to panic as i've noticed it isnt quite as flat as i would have hoped and it may cause issues with the new bathroom panelling. Is it possible for me to add another layer of plaster once it has completely dried out? Could I seal it with Gardz and then add another layer of plaster it could do with another 1-2mm??

Thanks in advance!

Yes you can seal with Gardz and plaster over. I have many times.
You can also bodge a cheap diy orbital sander on vacuum with 120 grade and sand plaster.

Watch. On the trowel. It's a YouTube channel for interest in how to plaster

After the Gardz has fully dried would I need to PVA before I plaster to help with adhesion? Or just plaster straight on to the gardz?
Thanks.

No. PVA. Plaster sticks to dried Gardz.
