There's this fish I've heard of, right, and when juvenile it has a fin on its underside and its eye on the top and is a bottom dweller, but as it grows up the eye and the fin swap round and it is not a bottom dweller anymore (and no, it doesn't just go upside down). Or the other way round.

I would like to read more about this fish. Can anyone tell me what it is called?

Michael Portillo?

Oh no, you said something about fish, eyes and fins, but rest was right wasn't it :?:

Most (all?) flatfish start out looking like any other fish, and then gradually one eye moves around to the other side and its body flattens out - is that what you meant?

I was led to believe it was one in particular, but yeah, it looks like you are right: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flatfish.

Thank you!
