Evening!
Had to replace our old immersion heater as our Switch head unit had failed.
I bought a replacement before removing the failed unit and going by model number of the previous unit I assumed I needed a 27" heater.
On removing the old unit I found it was probably either a 33" or 36" heater (it's in the bin now) but with a bend in it so as to fit in the tank.
Since I replaced this I'm getting half as much hot water as before.
I was under the impression that a 'longer' heaters advantage is that it heats the water quicker? Is this right?
