As mentioned i have had a rad installed in my new conservatory, (pipes under the floor), and well to be honest it's bloody freezing in there. There's only a small amount of heat coming into the rad, with the bottom being the coldest.

I have turned off all the other valves and left the rad in the conservatory open and well it's bloody "scorchio", but when i try and level all the rads out (quarter of a turn at a time) it just goes luke warm again!

The other rads are hot and cosy.

The pump is on 3 and there's no air in the system!

Any thoughts guys???

Sounds like you should try balancing with the other rads again, only this time tighter. How many of the others can you turn on before it goes sad?

Conservatories are b*****y freezing, but they do hot up quickly if you system has the muscle.

Have you a manual byepass on the system or built into the boiler which is open to far, robbing the rad farthest away (conseravatory) :?:

could maybe consider a larger pump or moving the point at which the rad. pipes join the main system nearer the pump

the microbore onto which it joins onto is of the small variety. Perhaps another thought would be to spur off a larger pipe nearer the boiler?????

Would this garantee loads of heat, or is it just a case of it's gonna be cold whatever?

p.s the piping coming from the rad in the conservatory is the flexi white plasticy stuff
