Hi all many thanks in advance for any help.

Basically fitting a new kitchen and wondering which is best to do next. All carcasses are made doors fitted etc....so im kind of ready for joining the units and getting them on the wall and leveling them. I still need to plumb in the washing machine and dish washer and sink. However , its a new extension so im also waiting on the final fix for electrician. So should i hold off till the electricain has been??.....any advice on this would be great or any general tips on fitting kitchens. TIA.

Let the electrician (and plumber) install their stuff first.

Mark the units on the wall - in particular the worktop height. Then have the electrical boxes sunk so that they work with whatever tiles you are using - it avoids lots of horrible cuts. Remember - have more sockets than you think you will need.

Then fit the units. Again, fit the wall units so that they work tiles from the worktop

Hopefully the new extension is nice and square with flat plaster and floor screed!

and no need to fit the doors until you have fixed and adjusted the cabinets. Doors will just make them heavier and get in your way
