Please tell meyou havent taken it down yet!

The light goes across both blacks and one of the reds, if your light is still up i suggest yo mark which red

With six wires I assume your ceiling rose caters for the bedroom light and feeds the next light in the chain of lights.
Normally you would find three red and three black wires operating as follows.
1.RED wire from fuse box or previous light to middle terminal block of rose.
2.RED wire from middle terminal block of rose to switch.
3. BLACK wire from switch to 1st terminal block of rose.
From this 1st block a brown wire would go to the lampholder and a blue wire from the lamp holder would go to the 3rd terminal block of the rose.
4. BLACK wire goes from 3rd terminal block back to fuse box or previous light.
To feed the next light in the chain you need
5. RED wire from the middle terminal block of the rose to the next rose.
6. BLACK wire from 3rd terminal block goes to/ comes from next rose.
So normally you have three RED and three BLACK.

These are classified as follows
1 is permanent live(red)
2 is permanent live(red)
3 is switched live (black)
4 is neutral(black)
5 is permanent live.(red)
6 is neutral(black)
Wire no 3 should be flagged with red tape to indicate it maybe live .
Now you have four RED wires and I would think the cable going to your switch contains two red wires so your switched live is RED and not BLACK as indicated above.
With a voltage tester you could prove which red is the switched live as it is only live when the switch is on.
Best way to understand it is draw the three terminal blocks
1st block 2 terminals 2nd block 3 terminals 3rd block 3 terminals and draw the wires in and follow the circuit
