Just bought a steel bath on proper legs which I am fitting. I have put 2 x 1 timber around the wall for support but need to fix the bath so it dosn't move.

Being steel I have nowhere to attach brackets to it so any ideas are welcome. :D

Gripfill between baton and bath.
I usualy drill through the bath edge and fix into wall aswell to anchor.

HI

build frame next to the panel and make sure the frame is tight pushing bath upwards.also fix few battens in away so that they are pushing bath to the corner.no need for brackets. :D

Hi Lunat

Sorry but not quite sure what you are saying. Could you elaborate please? :D

Try LEXEL, much better than gripfill. Best thing since sliced bread, as long as you dont want to remove the bath later.

www.sashco.com

About £4.50 a tube from Jewson.

Oh well.

You can always try Lexel on another job, well worth it.

ps . don't use it as a finishing bead 'coz it does not like being dragged.
