Fitting GDX 23121 Handset To The Wall Base Unit

Sorry if this is such a dumb question but how do you fit the handset faceplate on to the wall base unit as shown in the attached image?

Just to note I have an issue with my phone camera and so I can't take any photos. The base unit image I've uploaded I found on Google and although it's not the same unit the fittings are still the same.

The top of the handset unit/faceplate snaps in to place but the bottom refuses to do so. Any ideas what I might be doing wrong or other tips?

Clips broken off maybe so not snapping in place.
Run some decent tape around to hold on or glue

At a guess it had a screw at the bottom ….but it looks as the plastic had broken
