Hi Ive been to a job today to fit some fiberous plaster of paris coving it was delivered yesterday.
The cove is very soft and can be marked with a thumb nail, If we even try and move it, cut it etc it just breaks up and cracks, the back of the cove is still "wet" to the point where you can push it around with your thumb.
We contacted the supplier who said he has sold thousands of this coving and his fitters always fit it like this?!
Can anyone shed some light on this please the supplier is just an arrogant ****e who got all defencive and wouldnt offer any advice.
He stated the cove should be like this because it is flexible and wont suck all the moisture out of the adhesive which to some extent I agree with but the coving is all damaged etc just from unwrapping it.
