Fitting oven into tower cabinet

Hi

We are having a Howdens kitchen fitted and have opted for built in oven and microwave combi.

The depth of the cabinet from face to back panel is 500mm. 99% of the ovens I have been looking at state minimum 550mm.

Is it just a case of cutting out the back panel?

If there is a back panel yes.
You will also need to assess the location of any electrical outlets, sockets and plugs too or gas pipes if applicable. As they if positioned incorrectly, will prevent the appliance from fitting snugly!
