I'm fitting parquet floor on concrete/cement floor, it is flat already so doesn't need a SLC. I'm not sure if there is an DPM underneath the concrete floor but it was built 30 years ago. I have no way of measuring the moisture levels either. I thought of applying a liquid DPM for good measure anyway and get on with the project.

My question if in which order do I apply DPM and Primer before I glue own the floor?

Thanks.

Look at the application pdf online for the liquid DPM.
That will give you all the information you require and never use a product that don't have a PDF.
Also if you are still unsure then phone the technical helpline for advice as that's what it's there for.
There are different ways to use liquid DPM depending on the surface.
It maybe advised to apply a specific Sbr primer to bind surface prior to liquid DPM.
Then adhesive will stick to DPM.
You need to used the same brand products that have a PDF giving the information clearly.
They would have be tested in a lab so no reaction between products.

I should add that there probably is a plastic sheet under the concrete. Dig and find out. Mine is clear plastic. House built in 64

Any Dpm sheet over older then 1990 I wouldn’t risk going over it without a liquid Dpm as it will be perished in places.

you don’t but any primer under a liquid Dpm unless it’s a epoxy primer. Go with ardex DPM1c or Fball F77
