This clip has snapped. I find this situation a lot. The the back of the clip is pushed against the wall/fascia/tile etc and difficult to unclip or clip a new one on. Should I take the whole section of gutter off or just scratch my hand to bits pushing it in at back of gutter?

The bracket should be screwed to facia? Which requires removing to fix .

That's the bracket, isn't it which is screwed to fascia and holds gutters up? The clip clamps down and holds the bits together I thought and not as you say screwed to fascia. How do remove and replace the clip?

its a joining piece and should have clips on them
like this
https://www.wickes.co.uk/FloPlast-RUS1W-Square-Line-Gutter-Union-Bracket---White/p/432034
and then TWO sections of gutter are joined to it

you just need to work out the profile - and who made the gutter
I recently had to replace two of these joins pieces at my son-in-laws - for the same reason, the clip had broken and allowed water to pour out.

He had Wickes profile, and in fact had Wickes written on the gutter when we took it all down to remove some mastic, someone had bodge up - 1970's built property

Clips are part of bracket and not a replacement part , needs new bracket.

That looks like Marley Classic to me.

Unsure why the bracket is even there, the joining piece to the right of it has a screw hole in the back, so that would provide any required support.

But they are a bugger to get on and off generally. I just struggled a lot and eventually got it apart / back together.

Does the customer know that you are asking how to complete work for him on a DIY site???
