Wall mounted waterfall bath filler that is going to sit flush to my tiles, it is a solid unit with a male 1/2" G thread connection, do I leave a wall plate elbow recessed in the tiles and thread the whole thing into it using ptfe. If you have a look at Hudson and Reed code PN300 that's the one

Never understood the idea of never losing interest in watching a bath fill up, thinking "wow, that's cool".
depends on the 1/2" end. Will it take a tap connector? If so then I would be tempted to use that, it could be left in the wall on a small piece of plastic with enough space to connect it and then pushed back into the space and then secured.
