Fittings for 25mm MDPE/1" BSP

I have a 25mm MDPE pipe entering house from rainwater harvesting system. I need to put an elbow on it, then run into a filter with 1" BSP taper threads (female) and from there to a control unit with 1" BSP fittings. Question is, what fittings and pipe can I use internally? Plastic MDPE fittings are too bulky for a neat installation. Do I need to bush down from MDPE to 22mm copper, then back up to 1" BSP for connections, or are there any brass fittings available for use with MDPE? I don't want to reduce the flow more than necessary.
