Fixed Wiring - Colours Changing Again?

Somebody I was talking with last week suggested the fixed wiring code was changing again, from Brown and Blue to Red and Blue. I have heard nothing of this (and hope it isn't true).

Has anyone else heard of this?

all jokes aside, the three plug holes & plugs on the fluke 1650 range are red green and blue.

Could he have been looking at French wiring? It's common to use red & blue instead of brown & blue in France.

Was it here that someone wrote about how they'd been sent off when they were an apprentice for a skirting board ladder and a long weight?

He said he went to the high street and got a sash window weight and a ladder for a budgie cage......
