Fixing a carron bath to wall

Hi. Looking for some advice on fixing my new bath to the wall. I've fitted a few baths over the years and have always gone for the battens along two walls and some brackets screwed into the wall method. Well I've just looked at the fitting kit for my new 5mm carron bath and you get four plastic wall brackets which appear just to hang the bath. I guess they must be strong enough but I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of these fixings and would recommend how I could also get a batten along the wall to give extra support. Thanks.
