Fixing broken seal on a fridge

Hi,

I have a rip in the fridge's door seal. 3-4cm. Did anybody have any success with fixing or gluing together the seal? I know you can replace the whole seal, but it the rest of it is fine (the fridge isn't even 2 years old), so maybe something can be done to just patch it up?

Could try vinyl adhesive or remove and turn 180 so can't be seen.
