Hi All,
I have a Manrose SF100T Manrose 220-240v 50Hz 20W extractor fan in my attic. It has been there since I moved in (6 years ago) and recently stopped working.
I took a look at it today, but could not see anything wrong with it (visually) - I thought I could maybe clean out the filter or something (never seen it before, don't think it has a filter now!).
Anyway, looked online, nothing about fixing/maintenance. They don't seem that expensive so might just buy a new one.
My question is this; has anyone any ideas how I can fix it, or if I buy a new one how difficult would it be to rewire it myself - all the fittings are already in place. If I was doing it myself I would plan to turn the electric off (obviousily), open up the old fan, see how its wired, and try to duplicate it into the new unit.
Just want to get feedback if people think that this is feasible or not, I don't have any training, however would consider myself intelligent enough to follow how someone else has wired it. Or would it just be safer to get a professional in!
Any help appreciated!
