I need to fix Mosaic sheets in my shower room floor, i have the mosaic sheets already that fit the area i need to work on,but HOW do i fix them and what type of adhesive should i use .Any hints are welcome.
what type of mosiac are they ..stone etc..what size/thickness and colour also?..this will help with colour of adhesive required how thick to lay the bed of adhesive etc..
Well the surest bet would be Bal Mosaic Fix, is a very smooth single part flexible adhesive. Can be used almost anywhere and with any tile. Is slower setting so it gives you the time you need to flatten the tiles and make sure they are all level.
As Tic says it depends on what's available to you regarding brand.
I would use a flexible powdered adhesive, when you are fixing the tiles use a flat piece of timber or a grout float to press the mosaics in place, this will keep them nice and flat.
Make sure you use a mosaic trowel too.
