Hello again.

I'm fixing a sheet of Aquapanel (which is essentially plasterboard but tougher and waterproof). I have got special Aquapanel fixing screws, 40mm, to fix the board to the battens.

I have the worksheet, but it doesn't mention whether I'm supposed to drill through the panel before fitting the screws. I assume I am, but want to make sure in case that would damage the board.

Seems like a daft question, but I want to make sure I get it right!

Either my question was too taxing, way too simple, or just too boring!

But anyhow, I'll answer the question myself. I marked the spot with a bradawl, and the screws went in easily just with a screwdriver - no drilling required.

:D
