Fixing squeeky chipboard avoiding pipes

Our house is around 9 years old and when you walk into some of the upstairs rooms the floor squeaks. I have managed to pull back the current carpet and underlay to reveal what appears to be chipboard (as opposed to wooden floor boards) with nails rather an screws used to fasten the boards.

In addition our central heating system has an 11 split manifold, with 10mm plastic pipes servicing each radiator individually under the chipboard.

What would be the best solution to stop the squeaking chipboard whilst ensuring none of the pipes were damaged?

Use screws rather than nails, identify both pipe and cable routes, these can be marked on the upper-side of the floorboards, so to help you avoid damaging them. If pipes/cables are in close to areas that require fixing you can angle in screws to avoid contact.

thanks PrenticeBoyofDerry, I have had a look but can't see any markings. Would it literally be 'pipe' or 'wire' or something else such as a symbol?

Not a stupid question, it would be something you would need to investigate and personally Identify the pipe/cable routes. You would be very lucky if the trades involved would have actually ID for you.

Sorry what I mean to ask was is there a way of identifying pipe and cable routes without lifting all the chipboard up. I have a Stanley AC stud detector, that can find some stuff but the pipes being plastic - would this still locate them as the AC indicator is going off over a A5 sized area where usually it only goes off over wires (i.e. long and very thin sized area).
