I am fitting a wall hung toilet frame in a bathroom and currently have the rear supports on a masonry wall but obviously want the feet of the frame to be held as secure as possible to the flooring.
One of the feet is sitting on top of a joist which is good for securing onto but the other foot will be on the 22mm chipboard floor. What's the best way of securing this to the floor with? I was thinking of using 10mm ply on top of the floor for the feet to sit on and then some decent coach screws or is there a better way? Another option would be to have the frame sit on top of the studwork instead of using the 10mm ply. The studwork is 38mm high which could be a problem with toilet measurements but will do it if it creates a more secure fixing than using 10mm ply...
