i've bought a basin and a countertop and cupboard underneath. But now need to work out how to secure the vessel type basin to the worktop? any ideas? Also i have to get a unslotted popup waste thats long enough to go through worktop which 38mm. Not sure how to secure and fix everything. Can anyone advise?

Need more info? vanity unit? hole in top should accomodate waste so no special waste required.Does the basin have a flat base?
basin has a flat base, and sits on a 38mm countertop, then there is a vanity unit underneath, mainly for support for the sink and worktop.

Bead of sealant around base of sink will keep secure and prevent moisture getting to cut out, which should also be sealed against moisture.
