Grateful for an answer as to what (Paslode 350) nail-gun fixings to use for Tanalith-e treated timber.
I understand that the treatment eats uncoated nails very quickly, but that it can also get through galvanized nails (due to the inferior zinc coatings used by manufacturers in order to control costs).
I am building out of 47mm thick timber and ideally I'd like to use 90mm ring-shanked galvanized nails. Will I get away with this?
The only alternatives I have seen are 80mm stainless, but that feels a bit short in 47mm structural timber.
Three questions:
1. Any views on glavanized nails for with Tan-e timber?
2. Any sources of 90mm ring-shanked stainless nails for nailgun?
3. Views on suitability of 80mm stainless for nailing 47mm structural timber?
Thanks
