Normally the bell box strobe will flash during alarm when it is sounding, after that it may flash until the system has been reset.
if it is flashing continuously and you have reset the system properly, there could be a fault with the panel, bellbox or cabling.

Sorry meant that I set the alarm to see if light would stop flashing.

I've come across this on ADE panels optima's/ accenta's/ logic 4
Sometimes the strobe output gets latched, only solution is to power down the panel

well off and on again if all else fails is always good back up?
never had it to be honest, thing is down powering the panel every now and agaon to stop it is going to be a ball ache,but would guess its not a regular thing.
