We had a new flat roof put on before Xmas as had been having leaking through front fascias. We were recommended a guy from a building friend and he did ours and our neighbours at same time. Since having it done we have had more leaking now indoors as well! We had another roofer out who said he could fix but he came and did something and it still leaks. Now after threatening to take him to court, the original roofer is coming back again tomorrow to look. We have a water outlet on our roof which seems to be leaking somewhere around the felt and coming out via fascia. Do you think only solution is to cap the hole and have guttering installed or? Not sure who to trust anymore or what to do, whether to start again or?

To block the internal outlet and install gutters would require the roof to be reconfigured. Eave drip detail and appropriate runoff to the gutter etc.

Yeah I agree you should let the first builder have a go again as it could've been a genuine mistake.
