Just submitted plans to replace the ugly looking flat roof on a double storey side extension to a pitched roof to tie into the existing. Pictures below
I will be keeping the slates, but most likely stripping them all off first and having them relaid will any broken ones removed.
Would it be possible to have trusses manufactured for this roof, or would a cut roof be easier and cheaper?
Would be grateful if anyone could provide a rough cost for the new roof as well, just so I have a ballpark when showing it to builders. The spec has changed a fair bit to my iniital ideas, so would be good to know what this will all be costing me as well.
