I've been getting in quotes for a flat to pitched roof conversion on a third bedroom extension, the quotes range from £3000 to £5500 so quite a difference in price. The cheapest quote came from weathershield roofing contractors ltd based in Leeds and the guy seemed to know what he was on about plus he was the only one who actually got on the roof and had a good look. Should I be put off them because they were the cheapest and could start work immediately, I've always been told don't go for the cheapest quote and don't employ anyone who can start straight away as all the good tradesmen will always be busy. They have a website with customer reviews etc, has anyone had any work done by them or does anyone know of them.
