flexi shower hose?

The way my waste pipe for my shower runs, means that the shower trap will be under a lot of strain when i install the waste.

Is there a way to connect using a flexi hose?

I need to connect a 40mm solvent waste pipe to the shower trap. The shower trap is a compression.

How would i go about connecting a flexi hose from shower trap to solvent weld pipe?

EDIT: Would this work? One end needs to screw onto a thread at the shower trap.

Redo the solid pipe to remove the strain. Do it properly & do it once is my advice.

+1 .... never a good idea to fudge a shower waste if it can be avoided, if it's easily re-made then that's the way to go for sure. Keep it as simple as possible.
