Our WC light now flickers like crazy when switched on. There were no issues previously for several years. I’ve checked the connections and everything seems tight still.

There are 5 bulbs in there that do not flicker (I’ve marked them in red)

Does this indicate its knackered? It’s probably about 5 years old.

Any tests I can do?

I have had bulbs fail as you describe, I suppose you may be able to fit a new driver, if you can get one, and it may well be the LED's are faulty causing the driver to cause the flicker.

So likely better to replace the whole lamp, I have tried to repair items like that, and if in an office block with 100 fitted then if it proves not to be driver, then likely it will in fullness of time be used in another, but one lamp not worth the effort.

Thank you for the reply. I’ve been looking at the cost of new driver, which may solve it against the cost of a new light and figured it makes sense to just buy a new light fitting. Cheers
