Flickering LED's

I have 4, 4ft led battens (philips) in my shed. After about 10 minutes the 2nd one in series starts to flicker, then the third one. If I turn them off for a few minutes then back on they light up normally then again after about 10 minutes they start to flicker again. What's the cause?

Wish I knew, inside a typical bulb you have the LED's and chips to control them, and then behind the printed circuit a capacitor to smooth out any flicker, these are electrolyte and can be damaged with heat, and there seems to be no standard size, odd but the really cheap bulb seemed to have a larger one than the expensive one. No real way to replace or even know how big they are.
