Hello all.
I am soon to put a 'floating floor' in my garage.
I am going to lay 100mm jablite / king span depending on how much foot traffic I decide will go through there.
I am then going to lay 22mm chip board on top.
However.
I have an approximately 20mm slope which on my current concrete slab. I wish to level this before I lay the floor.
Any ideas?
I don't want to use self levelling as it would be expensive.
I was thinking of a sand and cement screed - but I think it will crack as only 20mm deep going to 0mm. Would it matter if this cracked with the insulation and floor going on top?
Thanks in advance for any comments
