Bit of an unusual project, i have (laboriously) designed a set up that uses 2 cut down wall cabinets (about 200mm deep) suspended above a breakfast bar.
my question is about supporting these two cabinets, the plan is to bolt them together (lenght ways) onto a third strengthened cabinet shell which is in turn bolted to the wall, the other end will be bolted into an fixed upright beam, these will sit on a board again bolted into the wall and beam.
if these aren't under any particular load (they are only so deep anyway) and the beam is substantial would this be safe? or would a metal support under these cabinets be advised?
If needed i can upload a drawing of my plans, if my explanation isn't clear enought.
