Sorry this is vague...

18 months ago we built a new office building. Lovely log cabin, everyone loves it. Anyway, we specced the main contractor to fit 150w floodlights on the outside, and on their own initiative fitted them with energy saving bulbs instead of the normal halogens.

These bulbs are like a swirly circle and a direct replacement for the 150w halogens. I'm told they use 10w and equivalent to just under 100w and of course produce very little heat, so the fittings are lasting better too. They're bright enough and in 18 months none have failed.

Great - except I can't find where to buy them! Does anyone know?

nearer to 40w than 100 lol
manufactures make all sorts off wild claims
not sure about the exact amount off light you get for 100w in a security light' in a low energy to normal bulb a ratio of 4 to 1 would be nearer than the 5 to 6.5 times the output so 9w=36 20=80w and so on
