Hi all
I need to raise the floor level in my downstairs toilet to match up to some UFH being installed. It will be latexed over before the flooring is installed. I've bought some 22mm P5 t&g to use. I just wanted to get some advise on the best way to work around the toilet and angles? My thought was to layer them left to right rather than lengthways so it will be easier to get a piece behind the toilet (is that even needed if no foot traffic there?). Any other suggestions? First time I've done this so not sure on how it's generally done around tricky areas.
Then, just a couple follow on questions... Firstly, I was going to secure down with gripfill and a couple torx screws into the concrete. Is that ok?
And secondly, how should I manage the gaps for expansion? I'm assuming tight up together but with a couple mm's on the sides. Should I fill those with anything?
Thanks all
