6mm is pretty good for a concrete floor, youre saying youve got to get it between 8-18mm,to get a floor absolutley spot on you need a lazer level, you can use whats called a dumpy level and staff to get your floor levels but could you explain what your doing in a bit more detail please :eyes Ian

I have a new porch that I built but my skills on floor levelling were not brilliant I need to raise the floor level by 18mm to make it level with an existing level. all the floor levelling compounds I have looked at recommend no more than 12mm but I need to go up 18mm I have been told that screed needs to be at least 50mm. Is there a floor levelling compound that will let me do this

what about putting some floorboards on top of the concrete, your first question was a bit deceiving it sounded like you had got to get the floor accurate to within the measurements :eyes
