Are you asking how to remove grout, the scratch or the tile?

Hi Thanks for your reply I want to remove the tile .But if you know how to remove a deep scratch tell me more . the blow lamp suggestion was to heat it up to till it cracks.

my apologies head wasnt in it this morning, i was thinking you had damaged one and wanted advice on how not to damage anymore.

so your neighbour is telling you to use a blow torch to remove a tile?

remove the grout from around the sides of the offending tile, then using a hammer and chisel smash the bejeebus out of it! then remove all the bits and smooth underneath, all nice and ready for new tile to be put into place.

i assume because the tiles are lying on plywood that they are sitting on a wooded floor, so hitting the tile is a no no as not only will you loosen the offending tile but probably loosen about a dozen surrounding it as well, i normally run the grinder through the tile and make it into more manageable pieces, then using a old chisel or old screw driver lever the offending tile out. using a hammer can make a 5 minute job into a 2/3 hour job.
