Floor tiles are not setting

I laid floor tiles a week ago onto concrete base.

The adhesive appears to have set around the edges of the tiles but when i step on some of them they rock & wobble. When I lift them up I find the adhesive is still not set (a week later)... I know there is something not right, but can anyone give me some idea as to what the problem is?

What adhesive did you use, premixed or powdered

What type of tile, ceramic, porcelain, stone

Hi, I used B&Q pre-mixed for floors with ceramic tiles.

If there premixed for timber floors is anything to go by then it is very slow drying, nextime get a proper powdered adhesive.

How old is the concrete floor? Does it have a damp proof membrane (DPM)?
