Hi,
When I moved in to my flat, all carpets were taken up and underneath were old tyles, many of which were loose and broken. These covered every square foot of my flat including kitchen and bathroom.
These are now all gone and I'm left with bare concrete floors which are very cold. I'm now in the process of arranging new floors but I'm thinking that the tyles should be replaced as I've obviously lost something in the way of sound and heat insulation by removing the old ones.
What would be the right material to use on a bare concrete floor and would themselves be covered by carpets etc?
